Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in the investment industry to lead a crucial system replacement project. This role involves standardizing and integrating various security and investment master data into a single platform, ensuring the efficient sourcing, transfer, and management of data.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the investment domain's system replacement project.
• Conduct functional analysis and derive requirements for the target system through effective requirements engineering.
• Manage the sourcing of data from backoffice and front-end systems.
• Ensure the smooth onboarding of interfaces, specifying and transitioning them to other data interfaces.
• Understand and manage mass data interfaces and different data models across various securities.
• Convert and map data models from one system to another, focusing on accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle data mapping for complex financial instruments like swaps in the target system.
• Oversee data reconciliation and transaction processes to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Requirements

• Proven experience in the investment industry with a strong familiarity with financial terminologies such as bonds, swaps, and derivatives.
• Expertise in functional analysis, requirements engineering, and system integration.
• Strong understanding of data models, data mapping, and mass data interface management.
• Experience with data system transitions, including both input and output interfaces.
• Ability to conceptualize and convert data models, ensuring seamless data transfers between systems.
• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
