Software Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of proven workplace experience who is well versed with Python and PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities:

• Must write organized, efficient, and performant code on deadline and with minimal supervision
• Must write own unit tests as a part of code development
• Effectively communicate with all members of the delivery team including analysts, developers, designers, QA testers, and project leadership
• Accurate task, deliverable and time tracking in enterprise systems
   

Requirements:

• 5+ years of Python development experience
• Experience with distributed development in a team setting using version control, preferably Git
• Experienced with both OOP and functional programming paradigms, not just scripting
• Experience with RESTful interfaces
• Proficient in at least one unit test framework for every programming language you use
• Experienced with application programming over relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
• Relational data modeling experience preferred
• ETL pipeline development experience preferred 
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work
