Symfony Developer

We are seeking a PHP (Symfony) Developer who will collaborate closely with the Product Managers to deliver a solid, robust, and modern product for our clients. You will also mentor junior team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Responsibilities

• Refactor existing code to boost performance, readability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Lead projects by establishing technical direction and overseeing other developers' work.
• Develop and maintain server-side web applications with new features.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new platform features.
• Assist in identifying and resolving software budefectsgs.
• Advocate for high-quality, standards-compliant code within an efficient Agile process, providing essential code-review feedback and upholding Agile principles.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of commercial experience in software development.
• 2 years of commercial experience with the Symfony framework.
• Proven experience in developing server-side web applications.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with SOLID principles, Object-Oriented Programming, and various design patterns.
• Extensive experience working in an Agile environment.
• Proficiency in code-review and peer-feedback processes.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Git.
• Experience with distributed applications and event-driven systems.

Good to have skills:

• Experience with Docker.
• Expertise in deploying code using multiple programming languages.
• Familiarity with AWS tooling.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience in refactoring monolithic applications into Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
