Cloud Solutions Architect

We are seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect who will design and implement cloud-based solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards and business goals. You will collaborate closely with Platform Engineers, Software Developers, and enterprise stakeholders to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and future-ready.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, resilient, and cost-efficient cloud architectures.
• Translate business and technical requirements into practical cloud solutions.
• Document architecture designs with diagrams, runbooks, and decision logs.
• Lead or guide implementation projects, supporting developers and engineers.
• Partner with FinOps to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Contribute to the Cloud Center of Excellence and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Apply security baselines (NIST, CIS, CSA) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with security teams to mitigate risks in designs and deployments.
• Design interoperable, portable solutions for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Support cloud migrations from on-premises or across providers.
• Stay ahead of cloud technology trends and drive proof-of-concepts.
• Optimize architectures for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency.
• Create reusable patterns, templates, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Certifications are a strong plus: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Google Professional Cloud Architect
• 5+ years in cloud architecture/design (senior profile).
• Hands-on experience with Azure and GCP across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Knowledge of hybrid/multi-cloud architectures, cloud security, IAM, compliance, and cost management.
• Experience designing cloud-native services, microservices, and containerized workloads (Kubernetes, Docker, AKS, GKE).
• Exposure to AI/ML workloads or data-intensive applications is a plus.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts into business impact.
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and DevSecOps practices.
