ML Engineer

The Machine Learning Engineer will be responsible for the development, deployment, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of large-scale recommendation systems and related machine learning solutions. This role requires strong technical expertise, cross-functional collaboration, and a disciplined approach to building reliable, high-performance systems that support critical business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance an end-to-end recommendation engine supporting personalized content discovery.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure integration with data pipelines to power recommendations and ML models.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to implement and deliver features that meet product and customer needs.
• Communicate technical concepts, system behavior, and findings effectively to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in machine learning engineering on large-scale data systems.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • JAVA, Python, and SQL
  • TensorFlow 2.x. Matrix Factorization and Factorization Machines are an advantage
  • Apache Spark and Apache Flink are an advantage
  • K8
  • OpenSearch is a plus
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
