Senior WordPress Engineer

Responsibilities

• Working with cross-functional teams, with a strong focus on aligning the right skills with the right problems.
• Working with the team on defining the scope and scale of the product.
• Meeting with clients to discuss design and functionalities.
• Designing and building the website front-end.
• Creating the website architecture.
• Designing and managing the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Generating WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting content issues.
• Monitoring the performance of the live website.
• Identifying bottlenecks and improving software efficiency.

Requirements

• Advanced knowledge and experience with WordPress and its ecosystem
• Knowledge of front-end technologies including React.js
• Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
• Ability to manage projects.
• Experience with bundlers like Webpack
• Experience with Git, Feature Branching, and Continuous Integration
• Affinity for research and a strong interest in end-user solutions
• Good understanding of the agile software development process
