Product Owner/Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in delivering robust technology solutions aligned with key client initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Agile methodologies, exceptional communication and organizational skills, and a strategic mindset capable of overseeing complex projects with a focus on client satisfaction, budget control, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

• Driving integrated teams to deliver solid technology solutions in support of key client initiatives.
• Work closely with multi-disciplined teams of product owners, architects, engineers, and quality assurance to drive estimates, delivery plans, and retrospectives.
• Manage and track team velocity, financials (Project P&L), and KPIs about the project plan and expected deliverables.
• Create and maintain the Project Plan and budget for all projects during the build and run phase, ensuring that the project(s) are delivered and managed successfully
• Continuously evaluate and communicate, and escalate project status, risks, and issues to upper management and external partners. Assessing the need and acting on the sending of interim reporting and risks during key phases of the project.
• Maintain dependency plans between planned sprints across engineering, infrastructure, and third parties.
• Ensure deliverables are high quality and clearly documented; conduct daily stand-ups and retrospectives at the end of each sprint, and ensure the team is continuously learning from the past.
• Ensure that key Project Artefacts (RACI Matrix, RAID Log, CR Log, Comms Plans) are in place on your projects.
• Manage high-level client relationships, looking for opportunities to up/cross-sell Deltatre’s products and services through effective account and relationship management.
• Identify and evaluate project risks and issues, devise and implement effective mitigation, and ensure internal escalation when necessary.
• Ensure all operations involved with the projects are delivered to the highest possible standards in collaboration with the live operations team.
• Assisting with effort and cost estimates for professional services engagements, RFIs, and the generation of Statements of Work (SOW).
• Awareness and understanding of project-related legal and contractual matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in managing complex projects, with a duration of up to 12 months and associated budget over £500,00+
• Agile and Scrum management of development teams to deliver technology solutions that meet customer expectations for timeliness and quality, preferably in an agency environment.
• Strong business acumen, backed up by a good technical understanding.
• Atlassian toolset experience, in particular JIRA and Confluence (desirable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively manage communication at all levels of an organisation.
• Fluent in verbal and written English.
• Experience working for a global employer.

• Solution-oriented and proven experience in dealing with ambiguity, driving processes, and achieving results without direct authority.
