Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

Adeva is a global talent network that enables work without boundaries by connecting tech professionals with top companies worldwide. This role is with one of our clients from the United States who are focused in adaptive HR and compensation software for enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete software development process from conception to deployment
• Maintaining and upgrading the software following deployment
• Managing the end-to-end life cycle for the production of software and applications
• Modifying and testing changes to previously developed applications
• Deliver high quality code in a fast and efficient manner
• Must be fluent in all things PHP, SQL, and Javascript
• Work within the Windows Server environment on a mostly AWS cloud server hosting platform
• Develop front-end and back-end software using PHP/SQL and HTML/CSS with Bootstrap
• Identify and mitigate end-to-end security concerns
• Ensuring the entire stack is designed and built for speed and scalability

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with PHP and Laravel
• Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as PHP
• Proficiency with database technology such as SQL Server and MySQL
• Database design and management, including being up on the latest practices and associated versions
• Strong understanding of software architecture, data structures, and computer science fundamentals
• Strong security background (comfortable working with PII/sensitive data)
• Experience with agile and fast-paced software development methodologies
• Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail
