Senior React Native Engineer

We are looking for front-end developers to join a dynamic development team. The team's responsibilities include web (desktop, mobile/tablet, 10ft), native (mobile/tablet, 10ft), and playback (all devices) development. In this role, you’ll work on a wide range of modern products—from cross-platform, multi-language consumer streaming applications (live and on-demand), to custom internal back-office portals that support these services. You’ll also contribute to a proprietary player engine used across platforms and help develop shared components and infrastructure, such as private packages and AWS Lambdas.

You’ll collaborate in a TypeScript-first environment and build scalable, user-facing applications using TypeScript, React, Node.js, and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design and build best of class Front-End experiences.
• Own, enhance, and maintain our Front-End platform.
• Participate in the technical design of your required deliverables, in addition to contributing to the end-to-end solution with your own ideas. 
• Collaborate with other Front-End developers and back-end system developers in building out an end-to-end solution that scales. 
• Collaborate with QA Engineering in ensuring a robust test approach is defined for your development deliverables.

Requirements

• Expert in responsive mobile web development.
• Experience with Front-End frameworks, React Native, ReactJS.
• Excellent skills and experience in modern HTML, CSS/SCSS (e.g., flexbox, grid), and JavaScript (ES6).
• Experience with cross-browser development and W3C standards. 
• Extensive experience in interfacing with REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Experience using Front-End testing frameworks, e.g. Jest, Jasmine, Karma. 
• Commercial experience in building single-page web applications.
• Keeps up with developments in FE technology, able to turn prototypes and R&D into production-quality products.
•  Experience debugging FE functional and performance problems
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
