Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer (eCommerce & Marketing Analytics)

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer. You’ll join a team responsible for enabling online marketing and eCommerce steering, delivering reporting used internally and exports that power integrations with external marketing vendors. One of the most impactful parts of the team’s work is marketing attribution—understanding how channels contribute to conversions—and ensuring the outputs are trustworthy and business-ready.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data pipelines that bring together marketing and eCommerce data from multiple sources.
• Contribute to key attribution pipelines that calculate marketing channel impact on conversions.
• Deliver datasets and exports used internally and shared with external marketing vendors.
• Apply strong data QA and code QA practices to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Work closely with teammates and stakeholders to improve reporting and analytics quality.
• Identify issues early and propose solutions proactively (not just execute tickets).

Requirements

• Proactive mindset: you take ownership and suggest improvements.
• Strong team player and good communicator.
• Very solid SQL skills and confidence in writing complex queries.
• Strong data engineering foundation (pipelines, transformations, reliability).
• Minimal exposure to Airflow and Python.
• Experience with data QA and code QA practices.

Nice-to-have / Preferred

• Experience with GCP / BigQuery.
• Experience with eCommerce and/or marketing data (strong preference).
• Knowledge of data modelling principles.
• Experience with Looker.
• Experience with Dataform (or similar tools like dbt).
• Understanding of CRM processes (especially email marketing).
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
