Senior Backend Developer (Laravel)

We are currently looking for a skilled Senior Backend Developer (Laravel), who will play a pivotal role in the backend team. This role offers an exciting chance for a skilled expert in PHP/Laravel development, RESTful APIs, and database management to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and maintain robust backend solutions using the Laravel framework.
• Create and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication with front-end applications and other services.
• Utilize SQL for efficient database management and optimization, ensuring high performance even with large datasets.
• Work with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.
• Apply your expertise in data structures and algorithms to optimize system performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Investigate existing systems to identify bottlenecks, bugs, and areas for enhancement.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills by independently resolving technical challenges and implementing innovative solutions.
• Ensure code quality, reliability, and scalability in a collaborative development environment.
• Communicate effectively in written and verbal English to engage with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of hands-on experience with PHP/Laravel and building RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and proven ability to efficiently manage large databases.
• Familiarity with Docker, Git, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong grasp of data structures, and algorithms, and a drive for optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve existing systems.
• Self-motivated and capable of independent problem-solving.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with additional development languages
• Experience with frontend frameworks, especially vue.js
• Experience with System Engineering (Linux, Redis, RabbitMQ)
• Experience with NoSQL (MongoDB)
