Senior .NET Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Developer to join a dynamic team, specializing in building robust, scalable microservices using modern .NET technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C# (.NET 8 or higher), a deep understanding of testability and reactive programming (Rx), and hands-on experience with MSSQL Service Broker, Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React and Knockout.js is also desired.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using C# (.NET 8+) with a strong emphasis on testability and reactive programming patterns (Rx).
• Implement and optimize database solutions leveraging MSSQL, including Service Broker for messaging and distributed processing.
• Build, configure, and manage Docker containers and compose files for local and production environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Kubernetes, applying core concepts for scalable and reliable services.
• Use Helm for templating, installation, and upgrade of Kubernetes applications.
• Contribute to frontend components utilizing React, Knockout.js, and similar technologies.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to continuous improvement and best practices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, maintainable solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (version 8 or higher), with proven experience in microservices architecture.
• In-depth knowledge of reactive programming (Rx) and writing testable code.
• Advanced experience with MSSQL, including Service Broker.
• Proficient in Docker: building, running, configuring, and composing containers.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes core concepts and real-world deployment experience.
• Experience with Helm for Kubernetes templating, installation, and upgrade processes.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies, particularly React and Knockout.js.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Knowledge of in-memory key-value databases like Redis
• Proficiency in Git and shell scripting.
• Experience with continuous integration tools (preferably Azure DevOps).
• Availability to work on-site in Milan during February 2026 (Travel, Accommodation,on and Meal Expenses will all be covered).
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
