Salesforce Architect

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce B2B Commerce Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, high-performing commerce solutions. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder engagement, playing a key part in both presales activities and end-to-end solution architecture.

You will work closely with business and technical teams to translate complex requirements into robust Salesforce-based solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for Salesforce B2B Commerce implementations
• Provide technical leadership during presales, including solution validation, effort estimation, and technical demos
• Conduct technical discovery workshops to assess current state (“As-Is”) and define future state (“To-Be”) solutions
• Design scalable and maintainable architectures across Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, and Core Platform
• Define and document integration strategies (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware such as MuleSoft/Boomi)
• Produce and maintain high-quality architectural documentation (ERDs, system landscapes, technical design documents)
• Collaborate with stakeholders to balance custom solutions vs out-of-the-box capabilities
• Oversee delivery, identifying and mitigating technical risks throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure alignment with security best practices (OAuth, SSO, role-based access)
• Support DevOps processes and CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Gearset, Copado, GitHub Actions)

Requirements

• Strong experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce, Experience Cloud, and Sales/Service Cloud
• Proven track record in solution architecture and enterprise implementations
• Proficiency in Apex, LWC, and Salesforce CMS
• Solid understanding of integration patterns, APIs (REST/SOAP), and middleware (MuleSoft/Boomi)
• Experience with data modeling, system design, and architectural documentation
• Knowledge of security models (OAuth, SSO, role-based access)
• Familiarity with DevOps/CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado, GitHub Actions)
• Experience in presales (discovery, gap analysis, estimations, demos)
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Relevant Salesforce certifications (B2B Commerce Architect, Application/System Architect) preferred
