Senior Data Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our team and play a crucial role in advancing the company's analytics capabilities. You will primarily support the Customer Success and Marketing teams, working closely with various sub-teams to address support and marketing aspects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of business data and analytical needs, translating requirements into actionable insights using SQL and a variety of query and visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a self-starting attitude with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to tackle complex data challenges in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Take ownership and champion data topics, collaborating effectively across the business, particularly with the Customer Success and Marketing teams, to manage projects and drive analytics capabilities.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and issues, and provide independent recommendations for appropriate solutions.
• Monitor the daily running of the production data visualization, ensuring consistency, correctness, and ease of use. Take ownership of data-related interventions and drive them to resolution.
• Create and maintain various data products, including visualization tool dashboards, reports, ad hoc data analysis, and graphs.
• Assist in team planning and support change management initiatives to facilitate business projects and requests.

Requirements

• Advanced data analytics and data science skills.
• Experience with ETL processes, including DBT.
• Proficiency in Looker and Tableau visualization tools.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure, particularly AWS.
• Expertise in relational technology, including metadata-driven and database-centric concepts.
• Experience with enterprise data modeling, enterprise dimensional modeling, and master data management.
• Knowledge of big data concepts.
• Strong SQL skills and familiarity with statistical and window functions, as well as complex data types.
• Experience in leading teams and organizing analytics user groups.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Track record of obtaining strategic and detailed analytics requirements.
• Excellent data analysis skills, including investigation, modeling, mapping, and gap analysis.
• Experience providing analytics for Customer Success and/or Marketing, A/B testing, and feature adoption.
• Strong understanding of dimensional modeling.
• Expertise with relational technology and proficiency in one or more database engines.
• Extensive experience with relevant data technologies, visualization patterns, and tools.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to conceptualize, organize, and simplify complex tasks.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of progressive professional experience preferred.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
