Senior Ruby on Rails Developer

On behalf of one of our customers, we are seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join a small, high-performing product team building a next-generation management and optimization platform for the hospitality sector. The product is already live in a real-world environment and is now being scaled to a broader market. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers, have meaningful product impact, and enjoy a high-trust, balanced work environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core product features such as billing, booking logic, and rate plan management.
• Contribute across the stack, from interactive Hotwire frontends to Rails models and services.
• Collaborate with UX and QA teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Play an active role in shaping implementation and architecture decisions.
• Maintain a clean, well-structured, and maintainable codebase.
• Thrive in a high-trust environment focused on thoughtful, quality-driven engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional Ruby on Rails experience.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, with pragmatic judgment.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset — willing to learn from and mentor others.
• Experience with Hotwire and Tailwind CSS is a plus (or willingness to learn).
• Bonus: familiarity with booking, billing, or reservation systems.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an international, distributed team and handle the challenges of remote collaboration.
