Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Backend Engineer to join a dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and enhancing various features, addressing issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of the systems. You will be involved in continuous integration and deployment processes and will contribute to improving all aspects of the service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new features for the systems, ensuring high-quality code and robust functionality.
• Resolve issues and troubleshoot problems to maintain the reliability and performance of the applications.
• Collaborate in maintaining and enhancing the systems, including both the latest technologies and important legacy systems.
• Work with cloud-based solutions, utilizing a combination of services, containers, and virtual machines.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices to ensure the systems are using the most current tools available.

Requirements

• Passion for technology and a solid foundation as a Software Engineer.
• Experience with Node.js and .NET 6 or newer versions.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs using frameworks like Express.js and Web API.
• Familiarity with GraphQL and gRPC.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized application deployment.
• Knowledge of multithreading, parallelization techniques, and event-driven architectures.
• Strong understanding of performance optimization techniques and best practices.
• Expertise in working with SQL, NoSQL, and Key-Value databases.
• Experience in developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable services.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and writing Unit, Integration, and Component Tests.
• Solid understanding of HTTP protocols, caching mechanisms, and related web technologies.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
