Python Developer

We are looking for a skilled Software Developer with experience in Python and SQL, well-versed in CI/CD methodologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in deploying code to cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure. The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines, engaging with relational databases, and troubleshooting deployment issues.

Responsibilities

• As a Software Developer, your responsibilities include designing, testing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and Apache Airflow.
• Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is advantageous, as all data services are deployed on GCP.
• Essential qualifications for this role involve developing robust integration tests, implementing data quality evaluation mechanisms, and proficiency in CI/CD methodologies.
• In addition to pipeline development, you will engage with relational databases, requiring expertise in database schemas and fundamental data warehousing concepts.
• Troubleshooting skills for deployment issues are crucial, and the ability to comprehend the root cause of problems is highly valued in this role.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Python and SQL.
• Proficiency in CI/CD methodologies.
• Bonus points for hands-on experience in deploying code to cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote wor

Additional advantageous skills include:

• Familiarity with GCP.
• Knowledge of DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Exposure to Data Fusion.
• Competence in Apache Airflow.
• Experience with visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker Studio.
