Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Java Developer to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in payment services infrastructure, with responsibilities spanning various domains, from system integration to microservices management and full-stack development. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring the seamless operation of the payment systems and their alignment with internal and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of integrating payment services with internal and external systems.
• Oversee and maintain approximately 10 microservices, with potential expansion opportunities in both legacy and modern payment systems.
• Work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, AWS, MongoDB, GraphQL, and Kafka.
• Use these technologies to build and enhance payment services.
• Contribute to both frontend and backend development as a full-stack developer.
• Navigate and handle diverse existing services and products.
• Balance new development with ongoing maintenance of legacy systems.
• Prioritize tasks in a complex and constantly evolving ecosystem.

Requirements

• 5+ experience in Java, Spring Boot and AWS
• Previous work with payment systems and integrations
• Ideally React experience
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
