Senior Frontend Developer

We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to contribute to building scalable, high-performance applications. You will work primarily on the frontend using modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks, delivering exceptional user experiences. This role emphasizes collaboration with backend and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and efficient performance across the stack.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React, TypeScript, MUI, and Vite.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate RESTful APIs and real-time features into the frontend.
• Implement real-time capabilities using Ably and WebSocket to ensure smooth data flow in user interactions.
• Optimize applications for maximum performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Ensure code quality by writing unit tests using Jest and maintaining clean, maintainable code with ESLint.
• Work closely with product teams to translate designs into high-quality, interactive, and responsive web applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues, ensuring compatibility across different browsers and platforms.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles to deliver iterative updates and improvements.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with experience in React and MUI.
• Hands-on experience with Vite or other modern frontend build tools.
• Familiarity with real-time data handling using Ably and WebSocket.
• Solid understanding of responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience in writing unit tests with Jest and maintaining code quality with ESLint.
• Familiarity with frontend performance optimization and best practices.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with backend engineers and other cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
