Senior Software Engineer (Python, Django)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will bring a robust background in software development with extensive experience in monolithic architecture and backend engineering using Python and Django. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale, monolithic applications, making it essential for candidates to have a strong understanding of best practices in this area.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop backend solutions for monolithic applications, ensuring scalable, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Design and maintain the architecture of monolithic applications, following industry standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize and troubleshoot application performance issues, particularly within monolithic setups.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on monolithic architecture.
• 3-4 years of hands-on experience with Python and Django for backend development.
• Proficient in developing and maintaining monolithic applications.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of containerization and cloud environments (e.g., Docker, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
