Full-Stack Engineer (Symfony)

Adeva is a global talent network that enables work without boundaries by connecting tech professionals with top companies worldwide. This is a position with a National Telecom Provider in the UK.

As a part of their team, you'll work on both internal software development (Service Desk Platform) and the customer portal which are key elements in the company's service delivery infrastructure. The team uses Agile processes, work with monthly sprints with software releases delivered at the end of each sprint.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy code in complex software development projects already identified and contribute to development in future software development projects.
• Identify improvements in Security, Performance, and Resilience of existing and future software projects.
• Contribute to discussions on the architectural design.

Requirements

• 5+ experience in PHP, Symfony
• Developing in PHP 7.* using OOP
• SOAP and REST API’s including XML, JSON
• Bootstrap or developing with CSS, SASS and Flexbox
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
• Have a strong 'can do’ attitude.
• Be able to self-organize with minimal supervision.
• Be able to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Have excellent time management skills and be capable of working to deadlines.
• Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
• Have attention to detail.
