Senior Game Designer

We are seeking a strong generalist designer/visual artist who combines artistic expertise with a solid understanding of UX principles. This role offers broad creative ownership and requires balancing hands-on design work with the ability to delegate and mentor junior designers. You will be responsible for setting and executing the visual direction of the games, ensuring high-quality design and engaging user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the full creative process for game visuals, storytelling, and mood from concept to delivery.
• Create sketches, vector-based artwork, detailed illustrations, and polished game assets.
• Lead and conduct game design reviews, ensuring visual and experiential quality throughout the production cycle.
• Develop storyboards and documentation to clearly communicate design intent.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive game experiences.
• Delegate production tasks to junior designers and provide guidance and feedback where needed.
• Ensure visual designs align with engaging and intuitive UX principles.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a visual designer/artist, with a strong portfolio showcasing both creativity and technical skill.
• Strong artistic foundation with expertise in digital artwork, sketching, and asset creation.
• Solid understanding of UX principles and ability to design intuitive game experiences.
• Proficiency with Spine software and experience creating animations.
• Skilled in creating vector artwork and digital assets.
• Strong knowledge of storytelling through visuals and concept art.
• Hands-on experience collaborating in cross-functional teams (developers, product, QA).
• Ability to work independently with a high level of autonomy and ownership.
• Experience delegating tasks and mentoring junior designers is a plus.
