Java Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer who will play a vital role in designing and developing high-quality software solutions using the Java tech stack. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding team success and delivering exceptional products.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Java Team Lead, Mobile Engineers, Web Engineers, and fellow Java Developers to design and develop robust software solutions.
• Utilize your extensive Java experience to provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
• Work closely with the team to understand project requirements, objectives, and priorities.
• Develop and maintain Java applications, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability.
• Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Perform code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to development guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Java 17.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot (version 2.0 or 3.0) for building robust and scalable applications.
• Solid knowledge of Maven for project management and build automation.
• Experience with PostgreSQL as a relational database.
• Proficient in Git version control.
• Familiarity with JUnit for unit testing.
• Knowledge of Flyway for database version control is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
