Test Engineers

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer who will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. The Senior Test Engineer will play a key role in defining the software testing strategy, process, workflow, and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate within an agile team environment, managing tasks organized in a backlog and broken down into actionable subtasks by the Product Owner.
• Core responsibilities include:
  • Refining requirements and ensuring clarity of scope (5%).
  • Developing and maintaining unit tests to uphold code quality (10%).
  • Designing, implementing, and executing system-level and integration tests (60%).
  • Defining and conducting comprehensive acceptance tests to ensure feature completeness (15%).
  • Promoting full transparency through agile practices, including regular reporting of weekly statistics and KPIs.
     

Requirements/Technical Environment:

• Programming Languages: Primary development in C and C++ (95%), with additional use of Make and C#.
• Operating System: Linux as the base platform.
• Version Control: GitLab for source code management.
• Testing Automation: Python for automating test processes.
• Build System: Yocto integrated with GitLab Runner for streamlined builds.
• Application Lifecycle Management (ALM): Intland Codebeamer for project and workflow management.
• Good exposure to manual testing, security testing, performance testing, integration testing, and contract testing.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
