Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a dynamic product engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable, real-time web applications using modern tools and technologies across both frontend and backend. You’ll work on mission-critical systems powered by technologies such as React, Node.js, MongoDB, Kafka, and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable web applications using React, TypeScript, and Vite.
• Design and implement backend APIs and services using Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Build real-time communication features using WebSocket and Ably.
• Manage background processing and task queues using BullMQ.
• Work with Apache Kafka for building event-driven, distributed systems.
• Collaborate with DevOps to deploy applications using Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Ensure code quality and reliability through testing frameworks like Jest and code standards via ESLint.
• Integrate external services such as Google Maps into platform features.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and provide technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript development.
• Proficiency in React, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Experience working with MongoDB and job/task queue systems like BullMQ.
• Solid understanding of real-time communication technologies (e.g., WebSocket, Ably).
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong testing practices using Jest and code quality tools like ESLint.
• Excellent communication skills in English and ability to work in a distributed team environment.
• Proactive problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
