Senior WordPress Developer

We are looking for a skilled Senior WordPress Engineer to join a dynamic team and ensure a smooth and timely workflow. As a team lead, you will play a crucial role in defining project delivery deadlines, assessing capacity and required resources, overseeing implementation timelines, conducting team training, and recruiting and hiring talented individuals.

Responsibilities

• Sprint Planning: Leading the planning phase and organizing of sprint activities.
• Task Assignment: Set tasks and goals for each team member, aiding them in organizing daily responsibilities.
• Deadline Accountability: Maintain responsibility for meeting project deadlines and ensuring task completion.
• Daily Activity Oversight: Manage daily activities related to ongoing or upcoming projects to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Time Optimization: Efficiently allocate time to maximize team productivity and project effectiveness.
• Motivation: Motivate each team member by identifying and addressing doubts and prejudices, eliminating factors hindering individual productivity.
• Employee Well-being: Foster a positive work environment, taking care to create improvements for the overall well-being of employees.
• Client Commitment: Commit to increasing the number of clients to drive revenue growth for the company.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze revenue from previous and current months, projecting for the upcoming month and quarter.
• Employee Evaluation: Evaluate the value and performance of team members, preparing plans for their training and career development.
• In a team of up to 3 people, occasional hands-on involvement in coding projects.

Requirements

• 5+ experience in WordPress.
• Prior experience in a team lead role, showcasing leadership skills and effective team management.
• Experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously and effectively managing human resources.
• Fluent in English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
