Senior Video Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Video Engineer who will be joining a dynamic team. As a Video Engineer, you will manage customer video solutions and requirements, ensuring the production of reliable end-to-end video workflows and pipelines. You will contribute to determining the technical and operational feasibility of solutions and project architectures, working closely with clients and colleagues to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Quickly understand and implement technical solutions.
• Manage and validate the video pipeline, ensuring the end-to-end workflow is fully operational.
• Define, document, and own end-to-end technical solutions for large-scale implementations.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, coordinating across multiple vendors to ensure all requirements are met.
• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot AWS Media Services (e.g. MediaLive, MediaPackage, MediaTailor) as part of production workflows.
• Implement and support SSAI solutions in production environments.
• Develop an in-depth understanding of Diva’s platform capabilities and services.

Requirements

• Experience in the video industry with a web or application development background.
• Previous experience as a video engineer managing complex client requirements and multiple vendors.
• Strong hands-on experience managing AWS-based video pipelines.
• In-depth experience with AWS Media Services (MediaLive, MediaPackage, MediaTailor).
• Proven experience implementing SSAI in production environments.
• Proficiency with HLS, DASH, and CMAF.
• Experience configuring and optimizing CDN platforms, particularly Akamai; experience with CloudFront is a strong plus.
• Experience with DRM configuration and troubleshooting.
• Effective communication skills with strong technical knowledge.

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of CastLabs DRMtoday and Harmonic VOS360.
• Familiarity with video workflows and platforms such as AWS, Azure, or others.
• Technical expertise in HLS, DASH, DRM, CDN, and QoS.
