Senior Automation QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer who will be responsible for creating and implementing a strategy for quality coordination and testing, as well as suggesting solutions to identified quality problems. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will play a key role in defining the software testing strategy, process, workflow and pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user stories and acceptance criteria to design effective test plans and develop both manual and automated test cases in close collaboration with the development team
• Actively engage in Scrum ceremonies to align testing efforts and apply testing strategies based on the testing pyramid
• Estimate, prioritize, and coordinate test execution to meet sprint timelines and quality standards
• Own the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) for new features, ensuring timely, high-quality releases through technical leadership
• Continuously evaluate and improve testing tools, methodologies, and processes by staying up to date with industry trends

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a QA Automation Engineer.
• Practical experience with object-oriented programming, preferably using C#
• Solid understanding of QA principles, processes, and industry-standard testing tools
• Hands-on experience with web automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright
• Strong grasp of the testing pyramid and its application in real-world testing strategies
• Proficient in using defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, Xray, or similar
• Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries
• Familiar with Agile development practices, especially Scrum-based workflows
• Experienced in collaborating with product teams to interpret and validate business requirements
