Senior Frontend Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application. You will work with the UI/UX designer and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.

You have excellent communication skills and previous experience in platform and full software development cycle.

Responsibilities

• Develop new user-facing features.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Working with the Development and Product teams to create projects and features for our products.
• Working closely with the team, helping others to work efficiently, constantly experimenting with new ideas, and optimizing existing ones.
• Help improve the overall experience of our product through improving the quality of the Frontend.
• Solve technical problems of high scope and complexity.
   

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience working with JS technologies.
• Professional experience with React.js or another modern JavaScript web framework (Vue.js, Angular, Ember, etc.).
• Experience with writing automated tests (e.g. Jest, Karma, Jasmine, Mocha, AVA, tape).
• Experience using Git in a professional/workplace environment.
• A solid understanding in core web and browser concepts (e.g. how the browser parses and constructs a web page).
• A solid understanding of semantic HTML, CSS, and core JavaScript concepts.
• Experience with performance and optimization problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
