Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate is passionate about ensuring software quality through test automation, bringing strong technical expertise and problem-solving abilities to design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions on time. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a critical project, leading testing strategies and ensuring scalable, reliable automation practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test requirements and automation opportunities.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Debug test failures, identify root causes, and provide detailed reports.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and release cycles.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer (minimum 5+ years, with at least 2 years in a senior role).
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or equivalent).
• Hands-on programming/scripting experience in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
• Experience with API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, testing processes, and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
