Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer with strong technical leadership capabilities to join a global team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in modern data engineering practices, ETL development, and cloud-based data platforms, while also being comfortable guiding architectural decisions and leading complex problem-solving efforts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using modern data engineering tools and best practices
• Develop, maintain, and enhance data models to support analytics, reporting, and operational use cases
• Lead technical discussions, evaluate architectural choices, and provide direction for data platform improvements
• Oversee end-to-end data workflows and ensure high standards of code quality, reliability, and performance
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, software engineers, and product stakeholders
• Implement and maintain data warehousing solutions aligned with best-in-class engineering principles
• Ensure robust monitoring, testing, and documentation practices across the data ecosystem

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar roles
• Exceptional ETL development and data modeling skills
• Advanced proficiency in DBT and Airflow
• Strong technical leadership experience, including driving architecture and guiding engineering decisions
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and modern data stack principles
• Solid software engineering foundation (CI/CD, testing, version control, code reviews)
• Hands-on experience with AWS (e.g., Redshift, S3, Lambda, Glue, EMR)
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
