Senior Java Engineer

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Java Engineer to join a growing team! You will play a key role in developing and maintaining robust Java applications and integrating them with blockchain technology using Solidity. You will leverage your expertise in Web3 to build innovative solutions that utilize cryptocurrencies and decentralized networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade Java applications with best practices in mind.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code using SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with other engineers and product managers to understand and implement technical requirements.
• Develop and integrate smart contracts using Solidity for interacting with various blockchain platforms.
• Implement Web3 functionalities and leverage cryptocurrencies within applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Java, blockchain technology, and Web3.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues and develop solutions.
• Contribute to the overall technical direction of the team.

Requirements

• 5+ experience as a Java developer, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Proven experience with SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience with popular Java frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, JSF, Hibernate).
• Strong understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
• Hands-on experience with Solidity and smart contract development.
• Knowledge of Web3 principles and experience with decentralized applications (dApps).
• Experience with cryptocurrencies and their underlying technologies.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
