Data Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to support the design and development of a company-wide data platform. The role involves collecting data across multiple departments, building a centralized data warehouse, and enabling advanced analytics and machine learning (ML) initiatives. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and frameworks, along with a solid understanding of scalable data architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to collect and process data from various internal departments.
• Build and optimize a data warehouse to support analytics, reporting, and ML use cases.
• Develop and orchestrate workflows using Airflow.
• Implement and maintain dbt models for data transformation and documentation.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in Python.
• Build, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and data models.
• Collaborate with data science, analytics, and engineering teams to ensure data availability and quality.
• Ensure data governance, documentation, and best practices for data reliability and security.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in IT or data engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with: Airflow; dbt; Python (minimum 3 years); SQL (minimum 3 years)
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with modern cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) is a plus.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with ClickHouse or other columnar databases.
• Exposure to self-hosted LLMs or ML platform integration.
