We are looking for a Senior AndroidTV Engineer with strong expertise in developing and delivering applications for Android TV platforms. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building large-screen, media-focused applications with seamless performance and engaging user experiences.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality AndroidTV applications. This role is critical in ensuring smooth streaming, intuitive navigation, and optimized performance for end users.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AndroidTV applications with a focus on user experience.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to implement intuitive and scalable UI/UX for TV.
• Optimize application performance for large-screen devices, including playback and navigation.
• Integrate backend APIs, video streaming services, and third-party libraries.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce high coding standards.
• Debug and resolve issues efficiently to ensure stable, high-quality releases.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in Android development (minimum 5+ years, with strong AndroidTV expertise).
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Java.
• Hands-on experience building and deploying AndroidTV applications.
• Strong understanding of Android frameworks, Leanback libraries, and UI/UX patterns for TV.
• Familiarity with video streaming technologies, DRM, and media playback optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns, best practices, and architectural principles.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
