Job Description

We are looking for an IT support specialist who will be working closely with the team. You will provide advanced IT support to end-users, aiming to restore service and identify core problems. This role is essential for recreating user issues to resolve operational difficulties and recommending system modifications to mitigate user problems. You will also be responsible for escalating complex issues, adhering to IT policies, providing training, and guiding less experienced staff.


  • Recreate user problems to identify and resolve operating difficulties. Recommend system modifications to reduce user issues and enhance overall user experience.
  • Escalate more complex problems to appropriate management levels. Provide detailed information on severe issues or those that exceed target resolution dates.
  • Adhere to established IT policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure conformance with organizational goals and procedures.
  • Provide creative and effective solutions to IT problems. Recommend procedures and resources to enhance efficiency, productivity, and end-user satisfaction.
  • Provide training to end-users on relevant IT systems and tools when necessary.
  • Offer guidance to less experienced Service Desk staff, particularly in problem resolution and communication.
  • Maintain thorough working knowledge of the day-to-day operating environment, available tools, and client applications. Stay updated on Service Desk and IT Operations procedures related to client services.
  • Perform other duties as required. May be required to perform duties outside regular working hours, subject to applicable country legislation.


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency in PC software (Microsoft operating systems and applications suites, email systems) within a network environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft server, workstation, and networking technologies.
  • Intermediate understanding of industry standards related to system and network administration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to provide clear guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Effective training and user support skills.
  • Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
