We’re looking for an AdTech Operations professional to own the operational execution, optimization, and troubleshooting of our programmatic advertising across direct and programmatic demand. This role sits at the intersection of ad operations, programmatic strategy, measurement, and partner management. You’ll be responsible for ensuring campaigns are planned and set up correctly, pacing and delivery stay on track, and that our
Google Ad Manager (GAM) stack is configured and performing to standard.
Responsibilities
- Own trafficking and setup in Google Ad Manager: orders, line items, creatives, key-values, ad units/placements, yield groups (as applicable), and reporting configurations.
- Maintain clean naming conventions, workflow documentation, and QA checklists for consistent operational execution.
- Troubleshoot delivery issues (under-delivery, creative approval, targeting conflicts, frequency caps, latency, mismatch between reporting sources) and coordinate fixes quickly.
- Manage and monitor pacing, delivery, and performance to ensure campaigns meet KPIs and contractual obligations.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (Sales, Growth/Marketing, Product, Revenue) to translate campaign goals into a programmatic plan: inventory strategy, targeting
approach, pacing, and measurement. - Provide guidance on programmatic best practices (audience/geo/device, contextual, viewability, brand safety, frequency, creative specs) and anticipated delivery
constraints. - Support deal design and execution: programmatic direct / PMP / PG / PD / preferred deals (as applicable), ensuring feasibility and clean setup.
- Create and iterate on SOPs for trafficking, QA, tagging, and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve scalability through automation, templates, and better data hygiene.
- Ensure privacy and compliance considerations are reflected in operational setups (where relevant).
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Ad Manager (GAM) — required. You have set up, managed, and troubleshot campaigns end-to-end in GAM.
- Experience with standard ad formats and creative requirements (display, video, rich media; CTV if applicable).
- Strong analytical skills: comfortable interpreting performance data, explaining discrepancies, and making recommendations.
- High attention to detail and a strong QA mindset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management—able to explain technical concepts to non-technical teammates.
- Prior experience in a fast-paced live environment (e.g. live sports streaming, high-growth media, marketplace, ecommerce, etc.
- Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
