Solution Architect

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to advocate for and maintain the cohesion of work to the architectural vision for Data Warehousing, specifically focusing on Crypto Payments and Digital Assets flows. This role involves active participation in the architecture community and the responsibility of communicating, evangelizing, and training teams on a group platform. The successful candidate will oversee the technical realization of architecture projects to ensure they align with the initial design, adjusting as necessary to reflect real-world conditions.

Responsibilities

• Advocates for the cohesion of work to the architecture vision for DW and specifically for Crypto Payments and Digital Assets flows.
•  Participates in the architecture community.
•  Communicate/evangelize/train teams on a group platform.
•  Oversee the technical realization of the architecture to ensure consistency with the initial design, and make adjustments to accommodate the reality in the field.
•  Technology and Design Proof of Concepts.
•  Technology Authority.
•  Support Tooling Decisions.
•  Design new solutions or evolve existing solutions to fulfill business requirements.
•  Defines technology standards and guidelines.
•  Identify performance, scalability and stability impacts.
•  Ensure appropriate departments are notified and present for design discussions.
•  Consult with all developers in design creation. Architects own responsibility for long-term system design and have the final say in design when disagreements arise.
•  Provides technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers.
•  Assess new technologies to be included in the standard technology stack of the platform.
•  Provides technical and organizational insight on the platform to other technical departments (e.g. InfoSec).
•  Provides technical feedback for Product owners in making decisions on product implementation and prioritization.
•  Collaborates with stakeholders to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new applications or components to ensure the architecture will fulfill these.
• Deep understanding of liquidity sourcing strategies and order execution mechanisms in the cryptocurrency space.
• A proven track record in integrating with various liquidity providers to facilitate multi-venue provisioning will be considered an advantage.

Requirements

• Expertise in Web3 technologies including wallet integration, smart contract development, DeFi protocols, and NFTs.
• Strong programming skills in Java and Solidity with experience in both relational and NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments with an understanding of system fundamentals.
• Ability to understand the architectural perspective on technology
• Passionate about technology, optimization and scalability
• Experience in Payment and Transaction Systems:
  • Demonstrable experience designing and implementing OnRamp/Offramp crypto solutions.
  • Familiarity with fiat and crypto payment processing workflows and API Integrations
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an international, distributed team and resolve potential issues and challenges that come with remote work.
