Serverless Node.js Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Serverless Node.js Engineer to join a dynamic team. You will be working on enhancing a centralized dashboard by synchronizing data from third-party systems and enabling third-party functionality directly from this central system. 

Responsibilities

• Develop a serverless application in AWS based on a provided High-Level Design (HLD).
• Implement data synchronization from third-party systems to the dashboard in near real-time using a GraphQL API interface.
• Enable users to create and update specific objects from the dashboard, particularly focused on Stripe objects.
• Address identified challenges and collaborate with the solution architect to design and develop effective solutions.
• Thoroughly test the software during development, ensuring functionality, reliability, and safety using test data and systems.
• Document source code for clarity, maintainability, and future development.
• Write a Low-Level Design (LLD) document detailing the as-built component-level technical specifications and functionality.
• Deploy software to the production environment, conducting post-deployment tests to ensure functionality aligns with the LLD.
• Promptly address any anomalies or issues identified during post-deployment tests.
• Create a user manual instructing users on software usage.

Requirements

• Proven expertise of 5+ years as a Node.js Developer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Typescript.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture, serverless applications, and test-driven development.
• Expertise in building and designing AWS infrastructure for serverless applications, including IAM, API Gateway, EventBridge, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Skills and expertise in serverless architecture and interfacing with GraphQL APIs as a client.
